South harbour
A sheltered harbour with rich summer life
The south harbour serves as both a guest harbour for visitors and a small boat harbour for the island's residents.
In the south harbour, there are berths for 50 guest boats, 20 at pontoons west of the entrance, and 30 alongside the northern quay. The harbour offers toilets, showers, waste disposal, electricity and water, as well as a laundry room with a washing machine and tumble dryer. No extra charge is made for the laundry room. In the harbour, there is a crane for lifting loads up to a maximum of 5 tonnes and Dyröns Alltjänst, who carry out service and repairs on all types of boats.
During the summer months, there are several operators active in the harbour.Yrön Södra Skaldjur och Konferens is opening its summer restaurant with an à la carte menu focusing on fish and shellfish. Linas Brygga serves light meals, fika (coffee breaks), and ice cream. At Linas Brygga, you can also refuel with diesel and exchange your gas bottles.
Sydhamnen is located approximately 200 metres from the Hala bathing spot and the minigolf course with a kiosk during the summer season, and a self-service waffle cafe the rest of the year. Gunnar's Boat Tours also departs from Sydhamnen with daily trips to Rökän.
Dyröns Alltjänst, with a workshop in Sydhamnen, offers repairs for engines, boats, and mopeds, among other services. Lifts motorboats up to four tonnes. Mobile: 070-537 55 27.
A stage for everyone performing during summertime, where the Bockeberget Gallery also features fine exhibitions. See Dyrön Community Association for more information. You will also find information about Dyröns Sauna and the hiking trail there.
Minnernasbod can be found between the harbour office and the mini-golf, a collection of pictures showcasing Dyrön's history. Memories from the past.
